Dr. Khwaja Mir Islam Saeed established Public Health & Management Training Department in structure of APHI in 2007. In last two years he has designed and implemented many important courses including six week courses of public health and management for new graduates form medical universities and till now more than 700 doctors have successfully completed the course.

He has chaired the technical training task force (TTF) which leaded to training modules on management. He has completed his Master thesis on prevalence and risk factors of tuberculosis infection among prisoner in Kabul Central Prison (Puli Charkhi). Despite of engagement in development and conduction of training programme, he has been providing technical inputs and contribution in different meetings and working groups.
